ABOUT ME

Hey there, I’m Maxfield Larson, I’ve also gone by nicknames such as Maximillion, Maxie, Maxelmore, and Mac, but a lot of people I know just shorten it down to Max.

Born in New York, but raised Vermont, I grew up surrounded by mountains and forestry. It was during those (very) younger years that I picked up a colored marker, and quickly learned my love for art. As I grew, I went from colored markers, to pencils, and even gone into metal working. But another thing I found that I loved as I grew up, was video games. The young me thought they were cool because they acted like interactable shows or movies, and while I still enjoy them for that reason, I also enjoy the immersion and storytelling that many genres of video games can show off in ways that traditional video media can’t.

And so, when it came to figuring out what I was going to aim for as a career, I simply thought “why not combine what I love, and aim for that?” Which led me working towards the goal of becoming a Game Artist. Now after studying Game Art for four years at Champlain College, I’m looking to taking the next step, and going into the industry. But while I’m looking to be hired or working on a team, that doesn’t mean I won’t be making some personal projects to expand my repertoire, so check back every once in a while to see if I added something new!

With all that said, I hope you like what I showcased here on this site!
